Who Am I?
Hey, I’m Anjulie, and welcome to my blog! I thought it was fitting to introduce myself in my first post and what better way to do that then through a bookish tag! I saw the “Who Are You” tag over at The Bookkeepers’ Secrets and decided to give it ago (even though I wasn’t tagged). Here we go!
1. What is the meaning of your name?
I looked it up online once and saw that it meant “worshipped”. This website says it means “salutation” and that’s cool too. I was named after a book character which is fitting considering that I’m a writer.
2. What Is Your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?
I got INFJ – The Advocate
“The INFJ personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As Diplomats, they have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is the accompanying Judging (J) trait – INFJs are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.” (Source)
Other Advocates include: Morgan Freeman, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Aragon (LOTR), and Galadriel (LOTR). (source)
I’m in good company then!
3. What Is our Zodiac Sign?
I’m a Taurus. Here’s some info about my sign according to this website.
Key characteristics: Security-conscious, resolute, dependable, faithful, secure, proud, obstinate and decisive.
Ruling planet: Venus
4. What Is Your Hogwarts House?
I’m a Hufflepuff! Like most puffs I wasn’t too happy when I got sorted in this house, but I’ve grown to like it.
“Hufflepuffs value hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play. The house has produced its share of great wizards – not least Newt Scamander, author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” (source)
5. What are your learning styles?
According to this website I have a multimodal learning preference which means I learn in a variety of ways. Cool.
6. Are You Right Or Left Brain Dominant?
I’m left brain dominant (56%). The left is associated with rules, language, strategy, details, rationality, and logic.
7. What Is Your Blood Type?
8. What Career Are You Meant To Have?
I took one of these when I went to a college and if I’m remembering correctly it was something creative. The person guiding us through the test basically said that I’m on the right track and that I know what I’m doing. I’ve known that I want to be an author since I was about 15 and I’m working towards that.
9. What Divergent Faction Are You?
The test linked above placed me in Amity (kind). According to the Divergent Wiki Amity is “one of the five factions in the world of Divergent. Members of Amity are dedicated to peacefulness, kindness, forgiveness, trust, self-sufficiency, and neutrality. Amity was formed by those who blamed war and fighting for human nature’s faults. Their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is soil, which is symbolic of them doing the farming for all the factions.”
I’m working on the “forgiveness” part.
10. What Does Your Birth Order Say About You?
I’m a middle child and this is what the website linked about has to say about that:
“Stereotype: Social butterfly, peacekeeper, fairness-obsessed.
Why it’s true: “Middle-borns don’t have the rights of the oldest or the privileges of the youngest,” says Catherine Salmon, Ph.D., a coauthor of The Secret Power of Middle Children. As a result, they become experts at negotiation and compromise. They also tend to lean on their friends, as their parents’ attention is often focused on the oldest or youngest child.”
I don’t know how much or if any of these tests are 100% true, but I hope that in the process you’ve learned a little bit about me.
What’s your Hogwarts House? Are you happy with the house you were placed in?
